We are pleased to announce that the winner of the 2020 edition of the BILA Award is Ms Anna Pani of Pisa University.

The panel of judges were impressed by Ms Pani’s ability to cover the subject “A comparison of the concepts of domicile and residence in the UK and Italian systems” so cogently.

Ms Pani’s essay can be downloaded from the BILA Award web page.

Regrettably, because of Covid restrictions, BILA will not be holding its annual dinner in January 2021, which would otherwise have been the occasion when a formal presentation of the Award would have taken place.
