We are pleased to present the BILA Award 2021 for Italian law students. The aim of the prize is to encourage students of Italian Universities with interests in the British legal system to explore relevant themes and topics by researching, considering and developing an argument in a short essay written in English about any matter of law, in particular with regard to cross-border legal practice issues.

This year students are asked to write an essay on the subject: “No jab, no job: from employment to human rights and beyond”. The candidates are invited to compare the approach of the UK and Italy to compulsory vaccination in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic, with particular focus on employment, human rights, data protection and health & safety and the challenges that it entails.
